A second rally to save Richmond Community Hospital was hosted last Sunday, April 7th. Dozens of Richmonders gathered for a First Sunday Communion, led by Viola Baskerville and Farid Alan Schintziusat. Two months ago, VUU, the property owner, announced plans to demolish the structure and replace it with housing. The rally featured speaker Selden Richardson, followed by community members sharing personal testimonies of what the historic building means to them and their families, with hopes of preserving the structure.
